Currently, we are looking for a Cloud Network Engineer to join our team in Finland.
In this role, you will participate in customer projects and migrations, as well as support and implement Cloud network solutions based on reference Network Architectures created by our Cloud Network Architects.
Understanding and deploying Cloud Service Providers’ (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) native network solutions is a big plus for the candidate. As the cloud networking area is evolving rapidly, the willingness to learn more about new cloud networking solutions is a big plus for the candidate. Experience on working around networking technologies on On-Premises environments will be highly appreciated.
Your daily responsibilities:
- Participating to customer projects / migrations in cloud networking area
- Tier 2 / Tier 3 support tasks for Network Managed Service relating to incidents, changing and servicing requests
- Deploying network setups in customer cases per our reference cloud network architectures
Technical skills:
- 3+ year’s experience on networking area (OnPremises and/or Cloud)
- Networking technologies e.g. IP routing (especially BGPv4), Global WAN and DNS
- Worked as a Tier2 or Tier3 support for internal or external customer(s) in network related incidents and service requests
- Knowledge of firewall platforms e.g. PaloAlto / Fortinet / Checkpoint
- Cloud Networking: Azure preferred choice, secondary AWS or Google Cloud
- Understanding ITIL-based processes
- Enterprise networking in global scale with possible experience on SD-WAN deployment
Soft skills & other requirements:
- Fluent communication skills in both English and Finnish
- Ability to fit well in a teamwork and share information within the team
- Curiosity to learn new things in cloud networking area
- Problem resolving mindset
- Cloud certifications (especially network related ones) are a plus
The successful candidate is expected to go through a security clearance.
