Currently, we are looking for Senior Managed Cloud Engineer for our team in Finland.
Your daily responsibilities:
- Working in a close-knit team of 4-6 professionals and a service line of several teams who support each other and share knowledge actively
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, developing, debugging, and testing Nordcloud’s cloud-native DevOps Foundation, which integrates Azure DevOps to customer identity and access management and cloud infrastructure
- Taking on technical leadership and responsibility over projects
- Leading communication with Customers on technical and business level
- Advising our customers on how to adopt the best possible service composition of public cloud-based services and tools and especially on DevOps practices and tools area
- Contributing to the development of internal automation tools and products owned by the squad
- Supporting and assisting other developers, cloud architects, and administrators
- Participating in occasional on-site meetings / workshops in Helsinki (one per month or more rarely)
- You'll get to build long-term relationships with our customers. The infrastructure you support and the code you write will power some of the most influential services in the Finland and abroad. Get to know some of our customer case examples
Your key skills:
- Experience with Azure, especially Azure DevOps and Azure Active Directory
- Solid skills in Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with automation and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)
- Ability to think in an abstract way
- Strong motivation, capabilities to learn new business domains and technologies, and ambition to grow to the next level!
- Contributing to Nordcloud’s internal community and enabling the best collaboration between colleagues
- Self-organized ways of working
- Fluent communication skills in English and Finnish
What sets you apart (we'd consider any of these a big plus):
- AZ-104 certification is a strong asset (if you don't have this certification, Nordcloud will provide you with training to obtain it)
- Previous experience working directly with customers or being a consultant
- Experience working in international environments with geographically dispersed teams
- Programming experience in general and specifically C# skills
- Command-line and shell scripting specifically PowerShell
- Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting
- Experience in AWS or Google Cloud
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies
