Currently, we are looking for a Solution Manager to join our team in the Netherlands.
Your daily responsibilities:
Collecting customer needs together with the sales team
Challenging fixed or legacy thinking based on your experience and modern ways of working
Translating customer needs to business and technology requirements
Identifying Nordcloud products and services that match the customer requirements
Building a solution consisting of a combination of Nordcloud products and services as well as cloud vendor capabilities based on the requirements
Building the Nordcloud value proposition and a point of view for the customer context together with the sales team
Working with the customer, taking customer feedback, and iterating the proposed solution based on the customer input
Liaising with cloud vendors to make sure the proposed solution is according to both Nordcloud and cloud vendor best practices
Demonstrating thought-leadership around modern Cloud services, including creating and talking to novel points of view, which can be used to communicate with our clients, partners and the market
Maintaining and continually honing your knowledge of the market and our positioning within it through personal research, curiosity and conversations with our SMEs
Your key skills:
5+ years of experience in solutioning complex cloud journeys
Advanced knowledge of at least one of the following platforms: Google Cloud, Azure, AWS
Good understanding of Cloud and Development Operating models
Private and Public sector experience
Ability to ‘read between the lines’ in customer conversations and documents to find the underlying ‘exam question’
Ability to craft responses that have a seamless ‘flow’ and have win-themes that demonstrate client-business understanding and unique value propositions that Nordcloud bring
Ability to independently design highly complex, often regulated, solutions, leveraging experience from enterprise architecture methodologies (such as TOGAF etc.)
Experience from enterprise-level frame agreement negotiations and material require
Experience in DevOps principles and modern project management methodologies
Ability to tailor communications to influence your audience, including c-level stakeholders
Fluent communication skills in English and native skills in Dutch
