Currently, we are looking for a Managed Cloud OpenShift Engineer for our team in Poland.
Your key skills:
Proven experience as an OpenShift expert with Level 2 (L2) support capabilities and production environments
Expertise in deploying, configuring, and managing OpenShift clusters, including knowledge of operators and Helm charts
Management for Kubernetes (RHACM), including knowledge of best practices
Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Ansible / Bash / Python
Proficiency in IaC with strong emphasis on Git and Terraform
Expert knowledge in RHEL
Experience with containers and Red Hat OpenShift / RHACM / Kubernetes
Strong understanding of security best practices and container security
Familiarity with IBM Cloud platform, managed services and integration with other services like container registry, logging and monitoring services, storage services
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly in complex technical scenarios
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Fluent communication skills in English
What sets you apart (we’d consider any of these a big plus):
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and container registries
Knowledge of DevOps/SRE methodologies and practices
Familiarity with container networking, storage, and performance optimization
Relevant certifications such as Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator
Your daily responsibilities:
Advanced Technical Support: Acting as the highest level of support for troubleshooting and resolving complex OpenShift-related issues, providing timely resolution and root cause analysis
Technical Expertise: Possessing an in-depth understanding of OpenShift architecture, Kubernetes, containerization, and associated technologies
Deployment and Configuration: Deployment, configuration, and maintenance OpenShift clusters in the public cloud, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security
Security and Compliance: Ensuring OpenShift environments comply with security policies and implementing advanced security best practices, including access control and vulnerability management
Cloud Services: Deployment, maintenance, integration, and operating OpenShift as a Service in public cloud
Automation: Development and maintenance of advanced automation scripts and tools for provisioning, scaling, and managing OpenShift clusters
Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Implementing advanced monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks and complex issues
