Currently, we are looking for a Senior Azure Cloud Architect for our team in the Netherlands.
Your daily responsibilities:
- Driving client projects with cloud infrastructure, cloud migrations, or data- and AI-related services
- Advising on infrastructure design and configuration management
- Giving workshops and engaging customer projects from inception to release
- Becoming a trusted advisor for high-profile enterprises
- Managing the client relationship and the roadmap with Nordcloud’s sales team
- Occasional travelling in the Netherlands or Europe may be an option, depending on the assignment and your preferences
Your key skills:
- Advanced experience with Cloud Architecture Design and Patterns including (Enterprise Scale) landing zones for development
- Hands-on knowledge and experience of the Azure platform
- Experience in leading delivery engagements for enterprise clients and large organizations
- Solid engineering and technical background with experience in conceptualizing, strategizing, and architecting cloud solutions
- Knowledge of security, network, virtualization, load balancing, storage, and databases
- Hands-on experience with building Infrastructure-as-Code (such as Terraform or Bicep) and CI/CD pipelines
- Container technologies experience (e.g. Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Coding/scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar)
- Knowledge and experience around DevOps/DevSecOps and/or Platform Engineering
- Fluent communication skills in English and Dutch
What sets you apart (we’d consider any of these as a big plus):
- Experience in backend programming with languages like C#, Java, Go, or similar
- Experience leading teams of Cloud Engineers and Architects
- Experience with Google Cloud and/or AWS
- Passion for sharing your knowledge and mentoring others
- Experience in consultancy and a pre-sales attitude
